I have a new understanding how our thinking system can distort our reality. What we believe influences how we see the world. Here is something I wrote last December. Have you had an experience like this?

On December 23, I drove to the store about 7:00 a.m. It was very foggy and the familiar street looked strange and was without firm lines. The trees look ethereal, cloaked in the fog. I have driven on that street hundreds of times, yet today the way was unfamiliar. The fog was go thick I knew I would not see an approaching car, so I turned on my headlights so someone else would see me. I also slowed down. I could not see ahead, so I wanted to give myself more time to react if another car approached. I could not see the road, so I had to trust the street would be there when I arrived. This was an exercise in faith and trust.

When I drove out of the neighborhood and drove on a busier street, I noticed the fog was less dense on the well traveled road. On the street with less travel, the fog hung heavily. Everything was veiled and obscured by the fog. The untraveled way was mysterious. Even though I was familiar with this road, it was different and hidden.

I asked the universal why I was having this experience. I was participating in the experience while also being the observer. I received the message the fog was an analogy for life. We all live in a fog; our very humanness obscures our spiritual nature, which is our true self. As we move through life, often the familiar seems strange and different. The fog within our minds or emotions cloak the familiar and we become afraid.

Remember to turn on your light when you are in a fog. You light will shine so others can see you. Slow down and listen to the rhythm of the universe. Let go of the business of the daily life and stay in the moment. When you are exploring a less traveled path, you may experience more fog. When you are on a well traveled road, the movement of the others lightens the fog. It is easier to find your way on the well traveled road. Yet, we all have the call go to on those untraveled paths. When we are on those ways, we need to practice our faith in the benevolence of the universe and trust firm ground will be there when we take the next step.

Despite the fog, let’s all explore.

Only you can heal yourself. How, you ask. What is the
secret? It is to look within. You need to connect with your inner divinity and find the place of
total awareness. That is all you have to do.

That sounds so easy. Yet most people do not find the way. Sometimes it is easier to have some
assistance. I suggest alternative healing modalities, like Reconnective Healing, Reiki, changing
the belief system and using Quantum Physics.

I will discuss all of these topics on the pages on this web site. Namaste.
